You only need a wooden spatula and some frozen food for this cleaning trick.

Here’s how it works: it’s simple physics since you freeze de wax to the point of breakage, then you just take it off in seconds.

How You Do It

Let the wax stain to cool down completely before doing anything to it, otherwise you’ll get it all over and make your work harder.

Look for a frozen bag of food in your freezer that would be big enough to cover the stain completely. Place it over the candle wax stain and make sure that none of the spill is left uncovered.

Gently press the frozen food on the stain so the cold would transfer to the wax and make it breakable. You will know that the wax is close to breaking when its color turns much lighter and it’s cracking.

Now you may use the wooden stick to remove the wax and you’ll see how easy the stain will pop up from the furniture. Wipe out the surface with a dry cloth first, then you can clean it as usual.
